Welcome to Sunset Beach Cabo San Lucas

Sunset Beach Cabo San Lucas stands as a vibrant retreat nestled along the picturesque coastline of Paraiso Escondido, Mexico. With its prime location overlooking the vast Pacific Ocean, this resort offers guests breathtaking views that unfold seamlessly from hillside perchings to its many pools and open spaces. The resort’s layout encourages relaxation while providing a range of activities that keep visitors engaged, such as pool volleyball and swim-up bars that add a lively social atmosphere.

The staff at Sunset Beach receive consistent praise for their warmth and attentiveness. Guests often highlight the personable service from servers like Roberto, Fernando, and Christian, who help create a welcoming and fun environment, especially around the main pool area. The resort’s family-friendly vibe is enhanced by numerous pools scattered across the property, catering well to both families and groups of friends seeking a memorable vacation experience.

While the resort enjoys commendation for its well-maintained facilities and engaging recreational options, the culinary experience appears mixed. Some travelers find the food offerings underwhelming, recommending caution with certain dining spots. Additionally, guests should note that water access from the beach adjacent to the resort is restricted, requiring waivers and limiting direct ocean enjoyment despite the close proximity to the shore.

Ultimately, Sunset Beach Cabo San Lucas embodies a dynamic balance of natural beauty, friendly service, and recreational opportunities. Its ability to immerse guests in stunning Pacific Ocean vistas, combined with a spirited social scene, makes it a compelling choice for travelers who prioritize both relaxation and activity. The honest reflections on its culinary and beach regulations add transparency, allowing future visitors to approach their stay with clear expectations.

Recently spent five nights at the all-inclusive, had an amazing trip. If he was were magnificent. The drinks were great, the only real let down for me was the food and the beach. You will have to sign a waiver that you are not allowed to enter the water even when the beach is next to your room. The food was subpar everywhere I went, and I recommend everyone AVOID LA FRIDA.

Pueblo Bonito sunset beach is an excellent resort to catch the breathtaking views the Pacific Ocean has to offer. It’s nestled nicely against a hillside, so you get picturesque views throughout the resort. The resort caters to families with a variety of pools throughout the property, and a handful of delicious restaurants, including the market. We stayed at building 26 (room 2611) which is not far from the main lobby, the market, and has a family pool located directly behind it. It is however located 187 risers above the main pool down by the ocean. Access around the resort is not the easiest. Golf carts is what everyone gets around in, and there are different stops located throughout the resort. The only problem is when it’s prime time it’s difficult and time consuming trying to get a golf cart. Walking is an option, but most of the time you are sharing the walkway/roadway with the golf carts. If you are a family with kids, this is not ideal. Our room was a decent size. It was a typical room with a balcony, small eating area, regular bathroom and a small kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave. The fridge can be filled upon request with water, sodas and beer. My only complaint about the room was the shower head that kept falling. The shower holder was broken. We never called to get it fixed, we just held it while showering. The resort has a buffet, an Asian restaurant, a bistro, steakhouse, another fancy restaurant called La Frida and The Market at Quivira which has many different eateries inside, including the 1950’s diner. Lastly, there is no access to the beach water here. You can go onto the sand and hangout. You can even rent a bed out at the beach, but the water is off limits. Apparently sharks visit the water frequently. If you would like to take the family into the beach water there is a bus you can take to the sister resort about :20 minutes away. The bus does require you to reserve your seat beforehand. The majority of the staff here are pretty friendly and helpful. My family and I enjoyed our stayed and I don’t see why we wouldn’t come back for a second visit.

Great place to vacation with family or friends. Activities at the pool like volleyball makes it fun. Christian keeps it interesting but he needs to do a belly flop in the pool too lol. Our servers were good for the week at the mian pool. Roberto, Fernando, Christian,Parliett (spelled it wrong probably) and others I can't remember were Great. My only complaint. Is villa 22 at the Monte Cristo needs some work. The hot tub didn't work right wouldn't get hot. And the pool lights didn't work. And generally, the whole villa needed some renovation. But besides that, we enjoyed our stay here.
